📋 Description

• Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data for strategic and operational decisions • Oversee RFPs and M&A financial due diligence • Serve as interim CFO for new markets during the RFP process • Provide financial due diligence and financial pro forma modeling input and assessment • Represent Medicaid Finance in newly acquired company integration efforts • Assist with Medicaid Finance's new market RFP response activities • Work with the Medicaid Actuary to develop the Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) model • Analyze financial implications of proposed investments and other transactions • Conduct financial modeling, reporting, and budgeting • Apply insight into the Medicaid healthcare regulatory and competitive environments and Humana's business model • Cultivate internal and external business relationships supporting technical knowledge and performance improvement • Collaborate with corporate HR teams to maintain internal controls for hiring and resource requests in new markets • Conduct market intelligence by pulling competitors' statutory financial statements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field • 8 or more years of finance and/or accounting experience, or equivalent • 2 or more years of project leadership experience • Experience advising senior leadership on financial strategies • Experience developing methodologies and criteria to summarize data for complex analyses, including financial modeling and forecasting • Knowledge of complex accounting and financial transactions for internal and external reporting • Experience managing special projects across cross-functional partnerships • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a CPA strongly preferred • Prior health insurance industry experience working in Finance/Accounting preferred • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
