📋 Description

• Generate and expand client relationships by providing payment solutions and recommendations to small businesses with $0–$3 million in annual sales • Partner with branches to identify new merchant-services sales opportunities • Prospect for new clients and convert leads into partnerships • Sell Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, check processing, gift cards, ACH, and related hardware and software solutions • Build pipeline, manage leads, close deals, and exceed daily and weekly targets • Collaborate with bank units to identify cross-selling opportunities and maximize client profitability • Resolve client concerns and build long-lasting client relationships • Teach, coach, motivate, and drive merchant education and sales growth within the branch coverage area • Report leads, opportunities, and status updates in the CRM and use dashboards and reports to understand sales trends • Leverage partners to learn products and services for cross-selling opportunities • Participate in occasional team meetings • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • 2+ years of proven sales/inside sales experience in financial services • Ability to close deals and achieve ambitious targets • 2–5 years of merchant services sales experience, including in a call center environment (preferred) • Previous sales expertise in the small business space from $0–$3 million in annual sales (preferred) • Expertise in virtual sales in a call center environment (preferred) • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills • Ability to multitask and juggle complex tasks in a fast-paced environment • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach • Thorough knowledge of Word and Excel and ability to quickly learn additional systems/software • Ability to utilize technology effectively to manage workload and client relationships • Fluency in an additional language (preferred) • Proficiency in Salesforce (preferred) • Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States • Huntington will not sponsor applicants for immigration benefits
