📋 Description

• Support implementation of Momentum for the Department of Veterans Affairs • Lead and support conversion testing activities for an implementation release • Test ETL logic and validate conversion loads • Support cutover readiness through mock conversions • Conduct deep data conversion validation, including source-to-target mapping, data profiling and cleansing, transformation-rule validation, and interface file-format testing • Develop and execute automated scripts to compare pre- and post-conversion datasets • Lead mock conversions and verify financial reporting accuracy and viability post-load • Collaborate with the Data Conversion Test Lead, government client, and other vendors • Plan, train, and test data conversion aspects of the financial system implementation • Update testing plans for data conversion components of implementation-wave releases • Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts, document results, identify defects, and prepare testing summary reports • Maintain and prioritize testing defect logs • Reconcile pre- and post-conversion financial balances • Ensure legacy fields map correctly to Momentum data structures and business rules • Validate load performance and confirm converted data supports go-live operations

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience supporting Momentum and/or financial data conversion activities at a large federal agency • Minimum 4 years of related experience executing system performance and data validation tests, documenting test results, and identifying issues • Documented experience conducting deep data conversion validation testing • Experience leading mock system conversions and verifying readiness for go-live • Knowledge of financial data conversion testing strategies and methodologies • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong analytical skills and a desire to enhance those skills in a challenging, high visibility environment • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance • Preferred: Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs • Preferred: Experience with Agility for testing • Preferred: Experience with Financial data and standard financial reporting (e.g., Balance Sheet) • Preferred: Documented experience developing and executing automated testing scripts, including VA-approved automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Eggplant, or Katalon
