📋 Description

• Support administration and operation of a Homeless Management Information System for a large Continuum of Care • Serve in a senior leadership role on the HMIS system administration team • Oversee personnel and activities related to HMIS training development, training delivery, capacity building, and professional development • Ensure training for approximately 8,000 HMIS end users meets U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and CoC compliance requirements • Liaise with CoC HMIS and data leadership, HMIS vendor, technical support teams, and internal and external partners • Participate in meetings with the HMIS vendor regarding features, functionality, and UI/UX changes • Implement tracking systems for end-user training compliance and deliver remedial training through corrective action plans • Maintain expert knowledge of HUD and CoC HMIS requirements concerning data standards, reporting, privacy, security, policies, and procedures • Design, develop, and deliver in-person and virtual learning experiences • Develop quality assurance and control mechanisms for training content • Collaborate with program, policy, and technical teams to align training with policy priorities, government requirements, and person-centered and trauma-aware practices • Use feedback from help desk and ticketing protocols to address training needs • Apply adult learning principles to curriculum and instructional design • Establish training efficacy metrics and implement continuous quality improvements • Maintain contracts for in-person training laboratories and virtual training platforms • Supervise approximately five HMIS trainers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Learning and Development, Organizational Management, Education, Public Policy, Business or Public Administration, Urban Planning, Social Work Administration, or another relevant field; equivalent experience may be considered • Advanced degree strongly preferred • Minimum 5 years of experience developing and delivering training and capacity building materials, preferably for an HMIS software or comparable information technology platform • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills • Ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical partners and stakeholders • Ability to supervise approximately five HMIS trainers and provide constructive feedback and professional development opportunities • Experience translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences using evidence-informed practices and adult learning principles • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment while meeting stringent deadlines
