📋 Description

• Support administration and operation of a Homeless Management Information System for a large Continuum of Care • Serve in a senior leadership role on the HMIS system administration team • Oversee personnel and activities related to HMIS training development, delivery, capacity building, and professional development • Ensure training for approximately 8,000 HMIS end users meets U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and CoC compliance requirements • Design, develop, and deliver in-person and virtual learning experiences • Liaise with CoC HMIS and data leadership, HMIS vendor, technical support teams, and internal and external partners • Participate in HMIS vendor meetings regarding features, functionality, and UI/UX changes • Implement systems tracking end-user compliance and deliver remedial training for corrective action plans • Maintain expert knowledge of HUD and CoC HMIS requirements concerning data standards, reporting, privacy, security, policies, and procedures • Develop quality assurance and control mechanisms for accurate and accessible content • Collaborate with program, policy, and technical teams to align training with policy priorities, requirements, and person-centered, trauma-aware practices • Incorporate feedback and shared learning from technical support teams into HMIS training • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methods to maximize engagement and knowledge retention • Establish training efficacy metrics and implement continuous quality improvements • Maintain contracts for in-person training laboratories and virtual training platforms

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Learning and Development, Organizational Management, Education, Public Policy, Business or Public Administration, Urban Planning, Social Work Administration, or other relevant field; advanced degree strongly preferred • Equivalent experience may be considered • Minimum 5 years of experience developing and delivering training and capacity building materials, preferably for an HMIS software or other comparable information technology platform • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills • Ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical partners, stakeholders, and training recipients • Ability to supervise approximately five HMIS trainers and provide constructive feedback and professional development opportunities • Experience translating technical concepts to a non-technical audience using evidence-informed practices and adult learning principles • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment while meeting stringent deadlines
