📋 Description

• Build and evolve scalable backend services in Go, focusing on system performance, stability, and maintainable engineering solutions • Contribute to technical decisions around application architecture, infrastructure, and long-term backend evolution • Develop clean, well-structured, testable code with strong documentation and engineering standards • Participate in peer code reviews and provide technical feedback • Work with complex data flows and backend components to ensure reliable processing and data integrity • Collaborate with engineers on technical discussions, estimation, planning, and delivery within a Scrum environment • Own assigned development activities and independently organize day-to-day work according to team priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Strong senior-level engineering background with 7+ years in commercial software development, including 4+ recent years focused primarily on Go • Proven track record of building backend solutions specifically for betting products; relevant industry experience is essential • Advanced knowledge of Go internals, including concurrency, data structures, memory allocation, and garbage collection • Solid database engineering skills, including extensive work with relational databases • Ability to troubleshoot, tune, and improve sophisticated SQL queries • Comfortable working in Linux-based environments • Practical knowledge of containerization using Docker • Production experience with Kafka and Kubernetes • Ability to design code for testability and maintain reliable unit test coverage • Intermediate English • Upper-Intermediate Russian • Experience with financial, transactional, or similarly data-sensitive systems is a plus • Experience with distributed, microservice-based systems is a plus • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, Clean Architecture, or Hexagonal Architecture is a plus • Previous hands-on work with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse is a plus
