📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance computing infrastructure • Develop and implement scalable distributed systems for complex computing tasks • Scale services and systems from deployments of approximately 50 nodes to clusters of 250+ nodes • Use orchestration, configuration management, virtualization, Linux, CLI, deployment tools, monitoring, and APM • Monitor HPC system performance and implement improvements for scalability and efficiency • Optimize engineering work and deliverables to balance feature development, product quality, and service reliability • Build CFD services and architecture integrating with ML and Simulation services • Work with development teams to design, implement, and optimize HPC solutions • Potentially contribute to ML, Simulation, and Quantum projects based on engineering objectives and team needs

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of experience in HPC infrastructure, systems engineering, or a similar role • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and scaling strategies • Deep knowledge of at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure; preferably AWS • Robust networking expertise • Strong Linux skills • Experience with data architecture and large-scale data processing • Experience with orchestration, configuration management, virtualization, Linux, CLI, deployment tools, monitoring, and APM • Three references required • Ability to work 80% of the schedule during business time zones for Latin America and Canada • Willingness to work some customer meetings at non-standard/nighttime hours • HPC CFD experience (optional) • Experience scaling services from single-region clusters into multi-regional deployments (optional) • Experience with clusters greater than 100 nodes (optional) • Experience building on-premises systems, data centers, and rack-and-stack environments (optional) • Experience distributing workloads across cloud and on-premises systems (optional) • Experience balancing business needs, product delivery dates, and customer satisfaction (optional) • Backend experience with SQL, API development, and serverless (bonus) • Software engineering experience (bonus) • Python or other programming languages (bonus) • Experience using Linux as a primary desktop workstation environment (bonus)
