📋 Description

• Drive the team's technical roadmap and architectural decisions • Build reusable, scalable systems for current and future marketing needs • Enhance developer productivity through processes, tools, and abstractions • Lead team-wide initiatives and strategic engineering work • Partner with senior Product and Marketing leaders on product design and technical decisions • Champion observability, resilience, chaos engineering, disaster recovery, cost optimization, and security-by-design • Mentor engineers up to L5 • Document processes and resolve cross-team execution blockers • Serve as a domain expert for marketing technology across the organization

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12 years of software engineering experience • Experience leading technical roadmaps and making team-level architectural decisions • Expert-level proficiency in Python • Ability to design and implement reusable abstractions, frameworks, and patterns • Deep technical knowledge of scalable, high-throughput systems • Comprehensive observability, cost efficiency, and security knowledge • Ability to partner with senior Product and Marketing leaders • Track record of improving team productivity through process improvements, tooling, and mentorship • Excellent communication and influence skills • Preferred: experience with AI-assisted development infrastructure and tooling • Preferred: expertise in ad tech platforms and marketing technology ecosystems • Preferred: large-scale legacy system modernization • Preferred: coding standards, architectural patterns, and technical review processes • Preferred: crisis contribution outside core technical expertise • Preferred: external-team cross-pillar collaboration
