📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS EKS clusters for high availability and scalability • Work with AWS ECS (Fargate) for serverless container orchestration • Set up, configure, and maintain Amazon MQ, ActiveMQ, and RabbitMQ message brokers • Manage and optimize Amazon RDS SQL databases, including performance tuning and high availability • Implement and fine-tune Amazon Redshift for high-performance data warehousing and analytics • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK • Design and configure CloudWatch and Datadog tooling for AWS environment health, performance, and security • Collaborate with stakeholders and platform engineering teams to understand business needs and recommend AWS services • Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework across operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability • Report directly to the Senior Director of Platform Architecture and collaborate with software, site reliability, security, and engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification strongly preferred • Proven experience designing and managing AWS cloud services, with expertise in EKS, Fargate, MQ, RDS, and Redshift • Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in team and client-facing environments • Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible to work in the US permanently
