📋 Description

• Conduct individual credit file reviews to assess underwriting and portfolio management quality • Independently validate and adjust risk ratings when necessary • Perform credit risk intelligence and leverage insights to determine loan sample selection • Identify loans with potential or well-defined weaknesses • Analyze trends affecting loan portfolio quality and potential problem areas • Assess adherence to internal credit policies and procedures and monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations • Maintain current knowledge of credit review methodologies and regulatory expectations • Conduct credit portfolio reviews and provide appropriate review and challenge • Write reports containing review conclusions and recommendations • Collaborate with other Credit Risk Review team members and internal bank clients • Participate in special projects, ongoing credit risk intelligence activities, and related training • Deliver results to Credit Risk Review management • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant credit experience (required) • Credit review experience (preferred) • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) • Master's Degree (preferred) • Credit Risk Certification (CRC) (preferred) • Moody’s Analytics Certificate in Commercial Credit (CICC) (preferred) • Ability to independently assign risk ratings based on internal policies, risk rating methodologies, and external regulatory guidance • Ability to assess client creditworthiness and complete independent financial analysis • Ability to work independently, seek information, and collaborate as necessary • Proficient business writing skills and ability to present information effectively • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple assignments and proactively communicate delays or capacity availability • Foundational understanding of lending products and business, industry, and regulatory concepts • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all lines of defense • Strong communication skills • Ability to make challenging decisions based on available information • Compliance with KeyBank policies, procedures, ethical standards, and applicable laws and regulations
