📋 Description

• Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications built with C#, ASP.NET, and Microsoft SQL Server. • Assist senior developers in analyzing existing application functionality, business processes, and system integrations to support modernization activities. • Assist in migrating application functionality to a modern technology platform, which may include a COTS solution, a custom-developed application, or a hybrid architecture. • Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and implementation activities. • Write and maintain SQL queries and assist in developing stored procedures and other database objects. • Assist in developing, testing, and consuming RESTful and SOAP-based services. • Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and defect resolution. • Collaborate with technical leads, business analysts, cybersecurity personnel, and government stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. • Support compliance with federal security requirements, accessibility (Section 508), and organizational development standards. • Continuously learn new technologies and development practices to support evolving modernization objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years of software development experience through employment, internships, cooperative education, or significant academic projects. • Working knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience with one or more technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, Java, or similar development frameworks. • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL. • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web application development. • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in learning modern application architecture. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance, if required.
