📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor translating business goals into deployable public cloud architecture • Align client executives, enterprise architects, security and compliance teams, governance, delivery, and hyperscaler partners around a technical direction • Shape cloud strategy, migration, and modernization roadmaps • Stay involved through delivery to ensure architecture goes live on time, on budget, and secure by design • Run discovery and assessment workshops • Build business cases and total cost of ownership models • Translate requirements into well-architected solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud • Design AI and agentic AI solutions, including data and platform foundations and workloads • Decide Kyndryl deliverables and design landing zones, networking, identity, data, and application patterns • Lead implementation teams as lead architect • Mentor architects and consultants • Build reference architectures and reusable accelerators • Help establish delivery standards and governance • Develop capabilities involving agentic AI, automation, and modernization accelerators

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years designing and delivering enterprise IT solutions, including at least 4+ years focused on public cloud architecture • Deep, hands-on solutions architecture experience on at least one major hyperscaler (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud) and working knowledge of a second; multi-cloud experience strongly preferred • Track record leading cloud migration and modernization programs, including assessment and discovery, the 7 Rs, landing zone and well-architected design, and large-scale workload migration • Strong command of compute, storage, networking, identity and access management, cloud security and governance • Solid grasp of containers and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), microservices, serverless, and application refactoring • Hands-on experience designing and delivering AI and agentic AI solutions on cloud, including data and platform foundations and AI/ML services across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud • Experience applying AI, automation, and agentic tooling to assessment, migration, modernization, and quality assurance • Experience with infrastructure as code and automation, including Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, and Ansible • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices • Practical understanding of security by design, FinOps, and well-architected or cloud adoption frameworks • Proven consulting skills, including client workshops, business cases, TCO/ROI models, senior stakeholder presentations, and delivery leadership • At least one current associate- or professional-level cloud certification • Preferred: professional- or expert-tier and multi-cloud certifications • Preferred: consulting, professional services, or systems integrator experience with enterprise clients • Preferred: familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation, Nutanix, AWS Outposts, Azure Stack/Arc, or Google Distributed Cloud • Preferred: deeper specialization in agentic AI, AgentOps, retrieval-augmented generation, and large language model integration • Preferred: experience mentoring architects and contributing reference architectures, accelerators, and delivery standards • Preferred: regulated-environment experience, including data sovereignty and compliance considerations • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
