📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic running on the mainframe • Refactor legacy code so modern cloud and mobile applications can interact with mainframe core data • Monitor architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code and maintain mainframe performance • Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions • Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services • Develop scalable and robust software • Collaborate with a global community of mainframe modernization experts

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects • Excellent coding skills and solid development experience with Java, Python, .Net, or similar technologies • Debugging and problem-solving skills • Experience with software development methodologies • Demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases • Experience with data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services • Knowledge of architecture design, including microservices architecture, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging queues • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred • Certification in one or more hyperscalers—Azure, AWS, or Google GCP—is preferred; certifications may be obtained with Kyndryl • Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices is preferred
