📋 Description

• Collaborate with global trade teams, IT teams, and external partners to gather and document business requirements • Analyze current processes and systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications • Design IT solutions supporting customs compliance, import/export processes, and trade finance • Ensure solutions align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices • Assist with planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects related to global trade • Work with project managers to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget • Liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather input and validate solutions • Ensure IT solutions comply with international trade regulations and standards • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies with relevant teams • Develop and execute test plans • Support user acceptance testing and resolve issues • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions • Create business requirements, process flows, and user guides • Provide stakeholders and senior management with updates on project status, risks, and issues

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of prior related experience, or 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree • Minimum 4 years of experience in IT business analysis • Experience working with ERP systems and global trade management software • Hands-on experience supporting global trade operations within an IT context • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies • Familiarity with global trade systems such as Descartes OCR EASE or similar platforms • Knowledge of data analysis, reporting tools, and process modeling • Understanding of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and import/export processes • Experience with data integration, APIs, and system interfaces • Knowledge of automation tools and technologies • PMP, CBAP, ITIL, or other relevant certifications are a plus • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders • Familiarity with trade finance, supply chain operations, and logistics processes
