📋 Description

• Partner with the COO, segment Presidents, and senior leadership to set and advance operational priorities across the I&M and E&C segments • Own the enterprise operating rhythm, including business reviews, KPI dashboards, and accountability systems • Identify and drive cross-segment synergies between Installation & Maintenance and Engineering & Consulting • Lead efforts to solve complex, cross-functional operational challenges • Assess workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements • Support operational integration of newly acquired businesses • Support leaders and teams across union and non-union environments • Analyze business performance, identify trends, and recommend solutions to improve service, productivity, margin, and execution • Provide input on operational resourcing, tooling, and capital investment priorities • Own enterprise-level visibility into safety performance and drive consistent safety standards • Collaborate with finance, HR, and corporate functions on operational decisions and reporting requirements • Sponsor and drive change management and adoption of new processes, tools, and expectations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred • 15+ years of progressive people management experience, including experience managing other operating leaders/managers • 10+ years of consulting, management, or senior operational leadership experience • Demonstrated experience owning P&L or operating performance across multiple business units, locations, or entities in a complex, decentralized environment • Ideally, exposure to managed revenue in the hundreds of millions of dollars • Strong track record of solving operational problems and improving business performance at scale • Ability to work effectively in both union and non-union environments • Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills • Experience presenting to executive leadership and/or a board • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders, including C-suite executives • Military/Trade leadership experience is a plus • Experience in installation, maintenance, field operations, engineering, or similar service-based environments • Experience integrating acquired businesses or leading through organizational growth and transformation • Strong executive presence and ability to operate independently in a remote, enterprise-wide setting • Willingness to travel 40–50%
