• Obtain, maintain, service, market, and grow the company’s insurance business • Assist clients with obtaining or renewing competitive and appropriate insurance coverage • Manage client relationships, including administration, marketing, customer service, and receivables • Manage carrier appointments, audits, memos, and updates • Handle middle-market commercial lines accounts • Prepare submissions for new and renewal business • Market accounts and prepare and present proposals, including on-site meetings as appropriate • Oversee quality control and compliance duties • Prepare change requests and review audits, policies, and endorsements for accuracy • Create account files in the agency management system • Invoice accounts and assist with collections • Handle carrier audit disputes • Prepare and implement marketing strategies for upcoming expirations • Manage account cancellations and mediate related issues or disputes • Process account requests for ID cards, evidence of property, certificates of insurance, binders, policies, and related documents • Evaluate account exposure and risk and select appropriate carriers and markets • Obtain quotes, negotiate coverage terms, and interpret coverage for clients • Evaluate and recommend additional coverage based on client needs • Delegate assignments to administrative assistants • Keep team members informed of account activities • Manage receivables, renewals, and expirations • Liaise with carriers and clients regarding complaints, claims, and grievances • Manage Exclusive Office Program policies in real time • Address management team inquiries and implement corrective plans • Maintain documentation in AMS360 or Epic • Participate in special projects and policy/procedure development • Keep current on rates, forms, and coverage changes through continuing education • Participate in seminars and classes for ongoing professional development
• Minimum 10 years’ experience handling mid-to-large commercial lines accounts • High school diploma or equivalent required • Active DOI P&C License required • Knowledge of AMS360 OR Epic system or similar agency management system • Knowledge of commercial insurance and products • Candidates must be located in the Central Time Zone • Must meet applicable state insurance licensing requirements • Must not have been disqualified or barred from licensure • Must not be prohibited from conducting the business of insurance under Title 18 U.S. Code, §§1033 and 1034
