📋 Description

• Compile, verify, and sort information from medical provider bills to prepare source data for computer entry • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct incompatibilities, and review output • Enter customer and account data from source documents within specified time limits • Input medical provider bills into the system so accounting can create invoices • Work with complex accounts requiring critical thinking and analytical skills • Maintain strict HIPPA compliance for customer information • Perform basic math calculations to determine appropriate rates for some medical provider services

🎯 Requirements

• High School or GED required • Some college-level experience is a plus • Some knowledge of medical CPT coding is a plus • Previous office work preferred, preferably in a high-volume, customer-oriented environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Self-motivated, able to take direction, and able to work autonomously • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook • Excellent typing skills and keyboard comfort required, including 10-key familiarity • Basic math knowledge and ability to use a calculator • Upbeat personality and friendly demeanor with basic customer service skills • Ability to handle stressful situations • Willingness to learn and grow in the role
