📋 Description

• Lead and manage Field Service Technicians within the assigned territory • Coordinate technicians, Independent Service Operators, and other field service resources • Develop regional field service strategies and allocate resources based on customer needs and business priorities • Partner with key customer accounts and Sales Representatives to support field operations and company objectives • Establish and drive performance metrics including response time, first-time fix rate, time to close, work volume, productivity, revenue, and profitability • Analyze regional performance data, run operational reports, and develop improvement action plans • Drive continuous improvement in service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance • Oversee, evaluate, recruit, and develop Independent Service Operators and service partnerships • Conduct regional resource and capacity reviews and ISO inventory audits • Serve as an escalation point for complex customer service issues and coordinate resolutions • Conduct field visits with technicians and ISOs for coaching, feedback, and performance observation • Identify training and development opportunities • Provide field feedback on product performance, quality, reliability, and technical issues • Partner with Engineering and Product Support to resolve product quality and design issues • Support sales of customer service contracts, service parts, marketing programs, and related offerings • Manage technician inventory and establish appropriate regional inventory levels • Manage the territory operating budget and P&L • Monitor expenses and improve cost efficiency and profitability • Manage the regional field service fleet • Administer employee safety programs and ensure compliance with company safety policies

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in field service operations, preferably in a lead, supervisor, or management role • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required • Demonstrated leadership experience within a Field Service organization, including technical and supervisory responsibilities • Experience servicing, testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and mechanical equipment • Success driving customer service, technician productivity, revenue, and operational performance • Experience managing third-party service providers or contractors preferred • Experience managing budgets, P&L, inventory, or fleet operations preferred • Strong leadership, relationship-building, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to interpret operational data and reports and translate insights into actionable improvements • Strong technical aptitude with electronic and mechanical equipment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel • Familiarity with Oracle or other ERP/service management systems preferred • Ability to collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Support, Finance, and other cross-functional teams • Strong business judgment balancing customer needs, operational performance, and financial objectives
