• Lead and develop programs and initiatives for ALF’s Think Liver Think Life (TLTL) Initiative • Represent ALF, its mission, and values to stakeholders including the general public • Support development of the TLTL Primary Care outreach program to increase awareness, education, and MASLD/MASH screening • Help develop educational materials and the microsite for the TLTL Primary Care outreach program • Develop partnerships with liver health screening sites, primary care physicians, allied health professionals, medical organizations, and community health centers across the country • Assist the National Director, Education and Outreach on projects • Develop and implement MASLD/MASH screening initiative methodology, protocols, and data collection processes • Design and deliver education and training to medical clinics and volunteers • Design and deliver health education and connection-to-care services • Coordinate ALF staff training, clinic coordination, and liaison with Sonic Incytes regarding the Velacur device for clinic screening events • Ensure MASLD/MASH screenings occur within established timelines at the required number of sites • Determine and distribute ALF educational materials and resources • Design and coordinate virtual meetings and programming • Build relationships to promote the TLTL program in assigned states • Liaise between the TLTL Program and ALF Advocates • Represent ALF in relevant state-level cancer control and medical initiatives • Determine, analyze, and report on data • Share fundraising prospect information with national development staff • Report to the National Director, Education and Outreach
• Master’s degree in health education, Public Health, Community Health, or another closely related health degree • Fluent in English • 3 years of experience in health education • 2 years of experience in a health care setting • Electronic Health Record experience • Knowledge of health issues, public health, and liver disease • Ability and willingness to learn complex medical information • Experience collecting and analyzing data • Ability to maintain relationships with health professionals • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to launch and manage projects to completion • Ability to communicate effectively with patient populations • Ability to manage crisis situations and exercise sound judgment • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and quality • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite • Must be able to lift and carry 35 pounds • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends • Spanish verbal and written proficiency preferred • CHES® certification preferred • Experience executing health screening initiatives preferred
