📋 Description

• Author and maintain reusable GitHub Actions workflow libraries for tenant application repositories • Build and execute CI/CD pipelines deploying a self-service platform into customer Azure environments • Establish and expand Pulumi TypeScript infrastructure-as-code patterns • Deploy and maintain AKS clusters, load balancers, node pools, NSGs, and Istio service mesh routing • Containerize tenant applications with multi-stage Docker builds and deploy them to AKS • Integrate and maintain security scanning with Semgrep, Grype/Snyk, and Trivy • Generate SBOMs and sign images with Cosign/Sigstore • Enforce quality gates in CI workflows • Automate multi-tenant onboarding, including namespace provisioning, RBAC bindings, and virtual service creation • Manage container registries, versioning, and release automation • Help maintain observability infrastructure for platform and AI/ML workloads • Support AI/ML platforms using Kubernetes, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure ML Workspaces • Collaborate with software engineers to prepare applications for production deployment • Follow DevSecOps, infrastructure-as-code, SRE, and operational visibility best practices • Produce concise documentation for systems, infrastructure, and automation

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain VA clearance • BS degree with 7+ years of experience • Independent, with a mindset toward continuous learning, drive for self-study, and resourcefulness • Strong communication skills and a customer-facing level of polish • Able to produce lightweight but useful documentation of system design and automation mechanisms • 5+ years of core experience across GitHub Actions CI/CD, including reusable workflow authorship • Experience with multi-stage Dockerfiles, container image scanning, registry management, versioning, and release automation • Experience with SAST, SCA, container vulnerability scanning, SBOM generation, and image signing • Experience with Kubernetes cluster operations, including node pools, namespaces, RBAC, health probes, resource limits, autoscaling, and rolling deployments • Knowledge of OWASP, Zero Trust principles, encryption at rest and in transit, FISMA High controls, and handling PII/PHI in cloud environments • Experience with Agile delivery methods such as Kanban, Scrum, or SAFe • Production experience with Azure AKS, Key Vault, VNet/NSG networking, and Azure Blob Storage • Experience with multi-tenant Kubernetes platform operations • Familiarity with Istio service mesh, including VirtualService/Gateway configuration, mTLS, and multi-tenant routing • Pulumi with TypeScript strongly preferred; Terraform or Pulumi experience valued • Prior work on a VA, DoD, or other federal FISMA High system with ATO experience preferred • Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure ML Workspaces, GPU node pool provisioning, and AI/ML workload scheduling preferred • Familiarity with Python (FastAPI) and Node.js/React containerization patterns preferred • Experience standing up observability, monitoring, and logging for cloud platforms preferred
