📋 Description

• Engineer and manage Tenable, Splunk, McAfee, and other security applications • Evaluate, test, recommend, coordinate, monitor, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, systems, infrastructure, and access management • Align cybersecurity plans, controls, processes, standards, policies, and procedures with cybersecurity standards • Identify security risks and exposures, determine causes of security violations, and recommend preventative procedures • Develop techniques and procedures for cybersecurity risk assessments and compliance audits • Evaluate and test hardware, firmware, and software for system-security impacts • Investigate and resolve intrusions, fraud, attacks, leaks, and other security incidents • Triage security events and coordinate incidents with incident management, IT operations, network engineering, and application teams • Diagnose, identify, isolate, and analyze problems using historical database records • Participate in security engineering, system configuration and hardening validation testing, and classified information-system assessments • Support security posture assessments • Monitor cyber trends, threats, and vulnerabilities • Develop, integrate, and maintain security toolsets • Alert management to recurring problems and problem patterns

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, or equivalent experience • 5+ years of Tenable experience • 5+ years of endpoint protection software experience with Symantec, McAfee, or CrowdStrike • 2+ years of Splunk experience • Exposure to or ability to learn ticketing and reporting • Exposure to or ability to learn Linux and Windows • Must possess active Top Secret clearance • Must possess CompTIA Security+ certification or be able to obtain it within 90 days of hire • U.S. citizenship required • Less than 10% travel requirement
