📋 Description

• Design, integrate, test, and sustain aviation Command and Control (C2) systems and associated Tactical Data Link (TDL) architectures • Provide subject matter expertise in Link-16 and JREAP A/B/C and Satellite Link 16 protocols • Support the full lifecycle of test events, including planning, execution, analysis, and reporting (PEAR) • Install, configure, modify, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and virtual network infrastructures across OSI Layers 1–4 • Analyze and evaluate network infrastructure performance during test and engineering events • Develop and implement solutions to improve network reliability, throughput, and efficiency • Assess test and operational network environments and enhance communications capabilities • Research, evaluate, and integrate emerging network technologies relevant to USMC tactical environments • Collect, analyze, and report network performance data for after-action reviews and engineering recommendations • Integrate C2 systems within LAN and WAN architectures to ensure interoperability • Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities and implement scalable, resilient network solutions • Report to the assigned Program Manager; no supervisory responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to work standard business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Subject matter expertise in Link-16 and associated protocols, including JREAP A/B/C and Satellite Link 16 • Deep technical knowledge of air C2 systems, simulation tools, and tactical networks • Strong technical expertise in LAN, WAN, and virtual network architectures across OSI Layers 1–4 • Ability to integrate C2 systems and optimize network performance in complex environments • Analytical problem-solving skills and a test and evaluation mindset • Ability to translate network data into actionable improvements • Secret security clearance • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds • Travel availability: 10%–15% within the Continental United States and 5%–10% outside the Continental United States
