📋 Description

• Supervise and manage a team of Claim Analysts day to day • Enable the team to meet client and corporate commitments • Achieve team quality, production, and service expectations • Develop staff • Implement new clients into the Unit successfully • Retain existing clients • Answer complex or difficult claim questions • Collaborate with the department manager to ensure department goals are met

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent • 3–5 years claim processing experience • Self-directed individual who works well with minimal supervision • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively with employees/members, providers, clients, Client Managers, and all levels of staff • Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out oral, written, or diagram-form instructions • Ability to deal effectively with problems in varying situations and reach resolution • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) • Flexible and open to continued process improvement • Ability to learn new/proprietary systems and adapt to various system platforms • Effective use of MS Excel and Word • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred • Self-Funded Insurance/Benefits and/or TPA experience preferred • Bachelor’s degree preferred
