📋 Description

• Design and implement core components of the identity sync pipeline, including ingestion, transform, validation, and install stages. • Build and extend the sync observability framework for monitoring, alerting, failure detection, and operational tooling. • Work across teams to close monitoring and reliability gaps and catch sync failures and stalled jobs before they reach customers. • Build safety nets, circuit breakers, and self-healing reconciliation for trustworthy identity data at scale. • Drive technical decisions through architecture reviews, mentoring, and pairing with engineers on complex sync and correctness problems. • Champion resilience, observability, and scalability throughout the identity sync stack.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience as a backend or platform engineer building production data pipelines that other teams depend on. • Experience using Dagster, Airflow, or comparable orchestration. • Strong understanding of correctness, idempotency, retries, and operational visibility in systems with hundreds of third-party integrations. • Proficiency in one or more of Python, Go, or TypeScript. • Focus on clean API design, testability, and observability. • Strong understanding of data correctness, SLOs, and shift-left detection. • Experience with circuit breakers, self-healing systems, and operational rigor in business-critical, high-volume pipelines. • Familiarity with identity and access governance (IGA) data, including identities, accounts, entitlements, and group memberships. • Ability to work from anywhere within ±4 hours of Pacific Time.
