📋 Description

• Lead engineering delivery for onboarding new customers onto the healthcare payer platform • Own sequencing, staffing, dependencies, and commitments for customer implementations • Surface delivery risks and make scope and quality tradeoffs explicit • Partner with Product, Implementation, and Customer Success on onboarding commitments • Own production health, incident response, root cause analysis, and durable fixes • Reduce recurring defects and escalations through preventative mechanisms • Improve observability, alerting, and operational readiness • Balance customer-driven work with technical investment and platform maintainability • Deliver the team's platform integration work as the product joins a larger ecosystem • Execute the team's Azure-to-AWS migration scope using established architecture and DevOps processes • Maintain availability and customer experience through migration and integration changes • Set and maintain standards for code review, testing, CI/CD, automated testing, and release practices • Ensure appropriate handling of sensitive customer and healthcare data, including access controls and auditability • Make technical debt visible and negotiate its reduction against delivery pressure • Establish and maintain AI-assisted development practices for coding, testing, review, debugging, and documentation • Guide AI tool usage with repository instructions, prompt and context practices, and CI checks • Coach engineers on effective AI application and evaluate the effectiveness of these practices • Hire, onboard, and retain engineers • Provide direct feedback, address underperformance, delegate ownership, and develop engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience • 3+ years managing engineering teams with direct ownership of delivery, hiring, performance, and development • Ability to independently review designs and code • Ability to reason about API and data boundaries • Ability to evaluate migration and reliability tradeoffs • Ability to challenge engineers on technical decisions • Track record of predictable delivery against external commitments and deadlines • Experience operating a production system with real customers, including incident response, quality management, and customer-impacting escalations • Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling and a point of view on effective team usage • Preferred: Working experience across AWS and Azure, including multi-cloud or cross-cloud migration work • Preferred: Experience delivering enterprise B2B SaaS with implementation or onboarding cycles • Preferred: Experience with regulated or sensitive data
