📋 Description

• Lead an infrastructure team and coordinate projects to meet client needs • Build team capabilities through example, T-shaped skills development, training and mentoring • Coach engineers and provide administrative support • Ensure standards and procedures are followed during information systems design and implementation • Monitor systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance • Work with customers to define epics and refine requirements into actionable stories • Conduct employee reviews, staffing and resource management tasks • Set team goals and prioritize tasks aligned with company and department objectives • Communicate goals and measure team performance • Assign and monitor work across Database Administrators, Leads and Supervisors • Manage hiring, retention, development, training, performance assessment, feedback and coaching • Coordinate, guide and mentor project management efforts • Facilitate communication with internal and external customers for analysis and troubleshooting • Liaise with assigned SBUs and management regarding departmental needs • Provide management status reports highlighting risks and issues • Assist with budget preparation and management • Manage 24x7x365 staff coverage • Complete special projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of related experience • Minimum of 3+ years designing, building and maintaining high quality, secure infrastructure systems in IT • Experience working with Agile Methods • Experience with modern data center and cloud environments • Experience moving across different departments within IT to gain a broader perspective of the business/industry • Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures • Critical thinking • Demonstrated problem-solving techniques • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to coach and build skills within the team • Experience in health care, insurance or a related field • Must understand, comply with and attest to security responsibilities and controls unique to the position • Must comply with applicable legal, regulatory and contractual requirements and internal policies and procedures
