📋 Description

• Create and update maps, guidelines, and profiles using Edifecs tools such as SpecBuilder, Map Builder, and EAM • Create maps and guidelines for healthcare EDI transactions including 837, 834, 835, and 820 • Design, develop, and implement Edifecs solutions • Configure Edifecs tools and XEngine configuration files for trading-partner-specific validation • Monitor and troubleshoot transmissions in Edifecs Transaction Manager • Configure severity files for custom error validation • Coordinate with application teams and support the QA team • Provide technical and industry consultation to management, clients, and development staff • Identify and recommend new IT opportunities • Direct and participate in software and hardware releases and installation tasks • Analyze problems and program in multiple programming languages and platforms • Develop functional and non-functional system requirements • Develop, test, and maintain code using appropriate software development methodologies and technologies • Integrate systems with databases and other applications using middleware such as SnapLogic and SOAP or REST services • Apply Agile, DevOps, cloud, automated testing, TDD, containers, microservices, and continuous integration practices • Perform load and performance testing and regular performance tuning

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of programming experience • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and work experience may be considered • Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science listed as a required education option • Strong working knowledge of modern programming languages including JavaScript, Java, and Swift • Experience with Edifecs Healthcare 9.x suite and healthcare payer systems • Detailed understanding of healthcare EDI transaction sets, including 270/271, 820, 834, 837 I/P/D, and 835 • Experience creating XML, DFF, and PFF maps and guidelines • Experience configuring Edifecs tools and XEngine configuration files • Experience developing Groovy scripts • Knowledge of software development and implementation processes • Understanding of systems integration, application and technical behavior, and business and technical requirements • Experience with multiple programming frameworks • Experience integrating databases and applications using middleware such as SnapLogic and SOAP or REST services • Proficiency in automated testing strategies, including TDD • Understanding of containers, microservices, continuous integration, and cloud computing • Experience with load and performance testing and performance tuning • Ability to work in an Agile development environment • Critical-thinking and demonstrated problem-solving skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills
