📋 Description

• Provide personal financial services at assigned military installations • Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families • Conduct one-on-one counseling and consultations with commanders, providers, and staff • Conduct briefings and presentations • Provide referral resources outside counseling sessions • Work with installation and military branch Points of Contact to ensure program scope and installation needs are met • Assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences • Develop and provide informational financial materials • Coordinate, publicize, and provide Personal Financial Management classes and workshops across the military lifecycle • Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes and seminars • Provide virtual counseling and electronic communications when authorized • Manage duty-to-warn situations according to Department of Defense protocol • Communicate with leadership and participate in individual and group supervision • Share information about installation trends and issues • Participate in in-service training, quality improvement committees, and other contract activities • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • Associate degree plus 4 years' experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree • High school diploma plus 6 years' experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree • 3+ years of financial counseling experience • Must be a U.S. citizen • Must speak fluent English • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish if required by the contract • Able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation • Must be able to pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process • Must hold one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) • Valid in-state driver's license
