Magna Legal Services is a U. S. -based provider of end-to-end litigation support services for law firms, insurance companies, corporations, and government agencies. The company offers court reporting and virtual depositions, record retrieval, service of process, investigative and language services, social media surveillance, jury research and consulting (JuryConfirm, JuryEvaluator, JuryScout), trial presentation and graphics, and related trial support. Magna also produces legal conferences and CLE/CE programs and provides nationwide scheduling and online tools to support litigation from discovery through trial.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain innovative software applications and services supporting Magna's Jury Consulting business • Partner with consultants, business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions • Communicate technical concepts, architectural decisions, tradeoffs, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences • Design, build, and maintain applications, APIs, and services using appropriate technologies • Develop responsive, intuitive user experiences using modern front-end frameworks when appropriate • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency, code quality, and delivery speed • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning; mentor other engineers when appropriate • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production applications for reliability and performance • Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI capabilities, to improve engineering efficiency and create innovative solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience developing and supporting production-grade applications • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go • Experience designing, building, and deploying modern web applications and APIs • Experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP • Strong software architecture, system design, and engineering fundamentals • Ability to quickly learn and become productive with new technologies, frameworks, and tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into practical technical solutions • Experience working in Agile software development environments • Enthusiasm for AI-assisted software development and willingness to use modern AI tools in day-to-day engineering work • Preferred experience may include .NET/C#, Node.js, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, cloud platforms, Git, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, AI/LLM integrations, data visualization, and regulated-industry experience
