📋 Description

• Develop and execute an annual event marketing plan aligned with business objectives • Enhance interactions for Marathon Health customers through in-person client events, the annual hosted client conference, and virtual events • Coordinate cross-functional teams across event logistics, budgets, invitations, design, content, vendors, promotion, and satisfaction/ROI • Manage the full event lifecycle from concept through post-event analysis • Create event messaging and content to drive interest, attendance, and follow-up action • Manage event budgets and timelines • Oversee agendas, attendee registration, presentations, materials, and evaluation metrics • Support venue selection, vendor negotiation, AV, and production setup • Build relationships with sponsors, internal partners, and external vendors • Partner with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional strategies, content, and audience engagement plans • Evaluate events using metrics and feedback to inform future initiatives • Set event performance goals, track attendance and engagement, and provide post-event reports • Create and maintain an event playbook for standardized company-wide events • Stay informed on industry trends and relevant topics • Plan and execute virtual and in-person events, including webinars, retreats, healthcare seminars, community initiatives, and the largest annual client event

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or event management, and a minimum of 6+ years of relevant marketing and event management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Prior directly related experience in the healthcare sector is strongly preferred • Strong organizational and project management skills • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously • Proficiency in data analysis and event performance reporting • Experience managing both in-person and virtual events, with a focus on creating engaging hybrid experiences • Track record of developing innovative event concepts • Deep understanding of current industry trends and ability to research and implement event strategies • Proven track record of planning and executing high-impact events that drive engagement and brand awareness • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills • Proficiency with event management software • Proficiency with project management tools, including Asana • Proficiency with CRM tools, including Salesforce • Ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure • Occasional travel for key in-person events
