📋 Description

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation • Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and route them for approval • Allocate purchases to specific customers, locations, and departments • Prepare invoices for weekly payments and distribute checks or process electronic payments • Research vendor problems and prevent vendor accounts from becoming past due • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoice and payment status • Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives for accounts payable processes and service delivery • Prepare and file Forms 1096 and 1099 annually • Manage, monitor, and record corporate credit card activity • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings • Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting • Support the company’s annual audit • Perform other related duties and special assignments as required

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience with invoice automation or invoice capture systems preferred • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Customer service-oriented mindset • Results-driven with persistence and follow-through • Initiative, accountability, and sense of urgency • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while meeting deadlines • Critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and within a team environment and prioritize tasks • Strong organizational, analytical, and account reconciliation skills
