📋 Description

• Own the reliability of infrastructure supporting every product team, including GCP, Kubernetes, and Postgres across hundreds of GCP projects • Design and build software that removes manual on-call intervention and recurring toil • Lead infrastructure projects end to end • Identify and fix latency or reliability problems caused by cost-driven limits and trade-offs • Build tooling that provides an overview of system health across GCP projects • Define SLOs with product teams • Improve reliability practices across engineering • Pioneer reliability engineering for agent-first production systems • Work across teams and with leadership to determine infrastructure direction

🎯 Requirements

• Solid software engineering fundamentals and raw coding ability • Production code as the default way of solving problems • Hands-on experience running GCP or a comparable cloud at production scale • Hands-on experience running Kubernetes at production scale • Experience with autoscaling and capacity management • Experience building tools and automation depended on by other engineers • Ability to drive ambiguous, cross-team reliability work independently from diagnosis to shipped fix • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must answer whether employment visa sponsorship is required now or in the future
