📋 Description

• Travel to customer sites to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex technical issues on Mitsubishi laser machinery • Perform mechanical and electrical inspections, including dismantling, rebuilding, and system adjustments • Provide remote troubleshooting support via phone when appropriate • Communicate professionally with customers about issues, timelines, and repair outcomes • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and block diagrams to support analysis and repair • Document service activities, findings, and resolutions • Complete and submit expense reports accurately and promptly • Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles • Perform additional duties supporting customer satisfaction and department operations

🎯 Requirements

• Working knowledge of machining, manufacturing processes, or industrial equipment • Proficiency with voltmeters, multimeters, calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators • Ability to use Windows-based computers and service software • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Comfortable working at heights when required • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record • Ability to travel extensively Monday–Friday • Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues • Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation • Experience using electrical measurement equipment, such as voltmeters and oscilloscopes • Experience using precision measurement tools, such as indicators, micrometers, and feeler gauges • Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely • Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, standing, and hand-intensive work • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally • Ability to push/pull equipment up to 50 lbs.; heavier loads may require carts or mechanical aids • Good visual acuity, including color recognition
