📋 Description

• Gain first-hand experience in the healthcare industry and apply academic knowledge in a real-world software engineering environment • Complete project-based work across key business initiatives • Develop and test software solutions, including responsible applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning • Collaborate with cross-functional teams • Build a professional network and strengthen technical and interpersonal skills • Work on a project-focused opportunity aligned with a current priority within the McKesson Pharmacy Systems Engineering team • Design, develop, test, or evaluate software and AI-enabled capabilities • Improve engineering productivity, operational workflows, or user experiences

🎯 Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program for the duration of the internship • 3.0 minimum GPA • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program applicable to Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field • Entering Junior or Senior year • Coding experience in JavaScript, Python, or another programming or scripting language • Understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, data structures, and software development fundamentals • Willingness to learn, develop, and contribute in an agile development environment • Experience with using AI-assisted development tools to improve software quality and engineering efficiency • Coursework, projects, or hands-on exposure to artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, or natural language processing • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • No company sponsored housing, relocation, visa sponsorship or Green Card assistance available
