• Lead regional customer and employee education and training activities supporting Cardiac Rhythm Management procedure and product launches • Partner with leadership, field, and cross-functional personnel to identify opportunities and barriers to district and region performance • Provide product-performance feedback to product development, quality, education, and marketing teams • Serve as customer and field technical resource in Cardiac Rhythm Management • Provide expertise in physician and fellows education, AHP education, clinical evidence interpretation, and Medtronic employee education • Provide implant or clinic coverage based on regional needs • Train internal teams and external customers on CRM procedures, therapies, products, processes, and solutions • Coordinate new-hire training and complete new-hire field sign-off • Deliver competitive technology and therapy training to regional, field service, and sales teams • Deliver tailored training on Medtronic and competitive products, clinical evidence, and marketplace changes • Deliver new product and procedural field training • Build stakeholder relationships and promote Medtronic products and therapies through clinical-value education • Translate complex technical messaging, address competitive claims, and resolve complex technical issues • Communicate product, procedure, and field corrective-action updates • Collaborate with the Clinical Research Organization on clinical studies and physician research • Partner with sales leadership to develop and execute strategic technical and clinical training aligned with business goals • Respond to urgent or changing business needs and implement strategic solutions with sales teams • Build collaborative relationships across Medtronic • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key regional customers • Provide expert service at key accounts to reinforce Medtronic technical competency
• Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or sales/service/engineering in the Cardiac Rhythm or an Implantable Medical Device Industry, or Advanced Degree • Degree that satisfies 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) for baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States • Valid driver's license • Must reside within the assigned territory • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment • Degree in biomedical engineering or nursing preferred • Cath Lab, EP Lab, hospital/clinic, or cardiology experience preferred • Experience teaching and educating medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel preferred • Thorough working knowledge of cardiac medical terminology and the medical device industry preferred • Excellent customer service skills preferred • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships preferred • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills preferred • Ability to coordinate numerous tasks/projects and meet deadlines preferred • Strong work ethic preferred • Expertise with Microsoft tools and business applications such as SalesForce.com preferred • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements preferred • IBHRE certification required at Sr and Prin level • Ability to travel frequently to customer clinics, hospitals, and offsite meetings • Ability to handle equipment and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds • Ability to wear a 5–7 lb lead apron for extended periods • Ability to work in environments involving infectious disease, radiation, MRI, blood, and bodily fluids
