• Grow sales and market share for an assigned territory by promoting, selling, and servicing Vascular products • Aggressively develop new accounts and drive adoption of DCB, Atherectomy, and the full Peripheral Vascular product portfolio for PAD • Manage territory organization, planning, administration, expenses, compliance, and quality standards • Meet or exceed AOP, sales budget, and account development targets • Develop and execute ongoing sales plans and strategies for growth and account penetration • Maintain and grow market share across product lines • Monitor market trends and competitive information and report relevant changes to sales management • Ensure coverage of accounts throughout the territory • Build relationships with decision-makers, customers, administrators, physicians, and staff • Drive account value through disciplined pricing, contracts, partnerships, and referral marketing resources • Understand customer needs, overcome objections, gain commitments, and close business • Plan and deliver sales and product presentations • Maintain existing business and develop new opportunities • Represent Medtronic at industry conferences and pursue sales leads • Develop strategies to counter competitors • Educate customers on product features and effective use • Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints • Plan cases with physicians, manage expectations, and improve outcomes • Engage physicians in clinical conversations about Peripheral Vascular products • Conduct business according to ethics, compliance, and FDA requirements • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, finance, and other internal functions • Communicate market intelligence, competitor activity, sales leads, pricing, and account activity to the District Sales Manager and appropriate personnel • Contribute to team efforts • Maintain comprehensive technical and clinical product knowledge • Understand competitive products and their strengths • Participate in product and skills development programs • Maintain knowledge of the reimbursement landscape • Drive to multiple healthcare accounts throughout the Rio Grande Valley territory
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 10+ years’ experience, OR Associate’s Degree AND 8+ years’ experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 6+ years’ experience • Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences • 6+ years B2B or Healthcare Sales with 4 years experience selling medical devices or medical capital equipment preferred • Degree in biological science or business preferred • Knowledge and experience in operating room, hospital, and physician office protocol/conduct • Ability to teach and educate medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel • Ability to work in Cath Labs • Ability to travel extensively by car and plane • Ability to work outside typical Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm schedule when required • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy • Driving record will be reviewed • Ability to lift/carry 20 pounds • Ability to sit/stand/walk 6-8 hours a day • Ability to operate a moving vehicle • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) • Ability to work around infectious disease, radiation, and blood-borne pathogens • Must reside within the assigned territory • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire and throughout employment unless eligible under the stated Principal-level sponsorship policy • For foreign Baccalaureate degrees, degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) requirements
