📋 Description

• Perform remote PV1 verification of medication orders for accuracy, completeness, and clinical appropriateness • Identify and resolve prescription discrepancies, medication safety concerns, and clinical clarifications • Review medication orders in accordance with applicable pharmacy regulations, clinical standards, and company procedures • Prioritize verification queues to support timely medication processing and operational needs • Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and healthcare providers to address medication-related issues • Maintain accurate documentation of verification activities, interventions, and escalations • Support prescription verification workflows across multiple pharmacy locations • Maintain patient confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and secure remote work practices • Participate in quality improvement, training, and workflow optimization activities • Perform other activities assigned by leadership • Work involves prolonged computer use, electronic prescription review, and telephone communication in a remote setting

🎯 Requirements

• Candidate must have active pharmacist licensure in MA • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy program • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the applicable state(s) of practice • Minimum of 1 year of professional pharmacist experience • Knowledge of prescription verification, medication safety, and pharmacy regulations • Proficiency with pharmacy systems and electronic prescription records • Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and confidentiality • Long-term care or high-volume pharmacy experience preferred • Previous experience with remote prescription verification or PV1 workflows preferred • Familiarity with Framework or comparable pharmacy management systems preferred • Experience supporting multiple pharmacy locations preferred
