📋 Description

• Define and execute AI-augmented test strategies across functional, integration, and automation testing layers • Use AI tools for test case design, automation script generation, defect root-cause analysis, and test documentation • Architect and maintain scalable test automation frameworks with intelligent test selection, self-healing tests, and predictive defect analysis • Evaluate and pilot emerging AI-powered QA tools through proof-of-concepts and adoption recommendations • Mentor and coach QA team members on Quality Engineering practices and AI tools • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed quality earlier in development • Advocate for shift-left testing and AI-supported code review • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline quality gates • Establish and share responsible, effective AI practices in quality engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must reside in the United States • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; Millennium Systems International participates in E-Verify • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field • Demonstrated professional experience in software Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or equivalent • Proven experience building and maintaining test automation at scale using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar • Hands-on experience using AI/LLM-powered tools to improve QA efficiency, coverage, or speed • Experience with API testing and CI/CD integration • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering fundamentals, including end-to-end testing strategy, risk-based testing, and release readiness • Experience designing and executing web and API tests, including UI validation, regression, integration, and exploratory testing • SQL proficiency for test data setup, validation, and data integrity troubleshooting • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated checks in build and deployment workflows • Experience working within Agile teams, including sprint planning, test estimation, and release coordination • Ability to use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar LLM assistants • Experience with or strong aptitude for prompt engineering • Familiarity with AI-assisted test automation, self-healing locators, visual AI testing, or intelligent test selection/prioritization • Ability to evaluate, pilot, and integrate AI-powered QA tools • Understanding of AI for test data generation, synthetic data creation, and edge-case discovery • Ability to validate, review, and refine AI-generated outputs • Track record of mentoring junior QA engineers and elevating team capabilities • Ability to champion AI-augmented QA practices • Experience identifying quality gaps, recommending tooling, and establishing scalable best practices • Proactive, self-directed, and dependable approach • Bonus: ETL/data warehouse testing, data modeling, performance testing, visual AI testing, backend/API testing, AI agents or LLM integrations, observability, security testing, and test management tools
