• Own the full sales cycle from self-sourced pipeline to close, selling Mercury's working capital products (term loans and rolling lines) to high-growth brands generating $20M-$500M in annual revenue. • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline through self-prospecting, outbound campaigns, and strategic networking. • Run deep discovery to understand a business's growth trajectory, cash flow patterns, and capital needs, then work with underwriting to structure compelling, credit-sound offers for complex, high-value deals. • Build consensus across underwriting and the executive team to move deals forward without cutting corners on credit quality. • Manage long, multi-stakeholder deal cycles involving founders, CFOs, and existing lenders or banking relationships. • Negotiate deal terms that work for both the business and Mercury, balancing growth ambition with credit discipline. • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand relationships into other Mercury products, including banking, credit card, and treasury. • Share market and customer insight that helps shape how Mercury underwrites and prices working capital over time.
• 3+ years of quota-carrying, closing experience selling credit, lending, or capital products at a fintech lender, bank business/commercial lending group, or similar provider. • Track record of closing deals with businesses generating meaningful revenue, generally $20M+ and ideally tens or hundreds of millions, in ecommerce or adjacent industries. • Strong understanding of credit fundamentals, including cash flow, underwriting considerations, and deal structuring. • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles requiring internal alignment across underwriting, credit committee, and leadership. • Ability to self-source pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship-building. • Familiarity with MEDDICC or a similar sales methodology, preferred but not required. • Ability to understand how growing businesses operate financially and solve their capital needs. • Previous experience selling credit and lending products at a fintech lender or bank. • Experience managing deal cycles lasting months and involving term sheets and multiple internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to understand underwriting decisions and restructure deals appropriately.
• Equity (stock options/RSUs) • Benefits • Competitive total rewards package • Reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment process for applicants with disabilities or special needs
