📋 Description

• Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects across the Investments space • Architect, build, and scale brokerage trading and/or custody systems and processes • Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams to ship features for customers and internal users • Take strong product ownership and help shape and build Mercury’s future • Build scaled, novel, and compliant Trading & Custody systems powering Treasury and Invest products • Empower the internal Investment Operations team with robust and efficient tools • Provide technical leadership in a collaborative, cross-functional environment

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7+ years of backend experience • Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail • Domain knowledge of broker-dealer trading and/or custody systems • Experience with systems supporting individual securities (equities, fixed income), ETFs, and mutual funds • Understanding of scale • Experience with AWS and infrastructure solutions • Experience serving as technical lead for complex projects with multiple stakeholders from inception to completion • Track record of successful project delivery • Experience making architectural decisions and measuring their impact over time • Ability to articulate technical opinions and explain tradeoffs
