📋 Description

• Lead the geographically dispersed Complex Catastrophe Response Team responsible for high-severity property claims and surge operations • Set direction for complex claim handling and guide high-severity claim decisions • Coordinate resources across multiple functions and ensure clear communication, timely decisions, and thoughtful policyholder support • Strengthen organizational capacity and coordinate response across Claims, Operations, Legal, Underwriting, Finance, Technology, Communications, and external partners • Plan and run Mega CAT scenarios • Develop and maintain catastrophe-response protocols • Improve catastrophe readiness and lead execution when an event occurs • Partner with senior leaders, claims teams, business functions, vendors, independent adjusters, and other business partners • Use technology, data, operational dashboards, analytics, and emerging capabilities to improve decision-making, response coordination, and capacity • Adapt response operations as customer needs, claim conditions, and business priorities change • Support policyholders and communities after wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, and other large-scale catastrophes

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading complex catastrophe property claims and high-severity claim decisions • Experience coordinating catastrophe response and surge operations across multiple functions • Experience developing and maintaining catastrophe-response protocols • Experience planning and running Mega CAT scenarios • Experience using digital tools, operational dashboards, and analytics to improve decision-making and response coordination • Ability to lead a geographically dispersed team • Ability to partner with Claims, Operations, Legal, Underwriting, Finance, Special Investigations, Subrogation, Technology, Communications, vendors, independent adjusters, and other business partners • Ability to travel rapidly to affected areas for CAT deployments • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays during active events • Calm under pressure, complex problem-solving, customer-care orientation, and change agility
