📋 Description

• Conduct activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to foundation, corporate, and government sources • Research, compile, write, and edit grant applications • Develop relationships with funders and internal stakeholders to further grant efforts across the Mercy ministry • Work closely with internal project managers to monitor funding expenditures and outcome reporting • Act as liaison between program staff and funding agencies • Perform duties consistently with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field • Minimum three years' experience with grant writing • Demonstrated track record in writing persuasive, clear and concise proposals • Experience developing, writing, coordinating, and submitting complex federal, state, and county government grant applications • Strong understanding of government funding requirements, proposal development, budgets, submission processes, and grant application portals • Experience coordinating government grant proposals involving multiple stakeholders, departments, and subject matter experts • Ability to research and evaluate grant opportunities and work with clinical and operational stakeholders to develop competitive project concepts aligned with grant requirements • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Effective project management skills • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint • Ability to plan, prioritize, shift priorities if necessary, and coordinate multiple projects to meet deadlines • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
