📋 Description

• Lead the technical architecture, planning, and design of a large-scale enterprise migration to Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure • Assess existing virtualization, compute, storage, networking, application dependencies, and infrastructure configurations • Design scalable, resilient, and high-performance Nutanix environments using AOS, AHV, Prism Central, and supporting technologies • Develop migration strategies including workload assessment, sequencing, dependency mapping, cutover planning, rollback procedures, and risk mitigation • Architect migration solutions from VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or other virtualization environments • Define Nutanix cluster architecture, capacity requirements, resource allocation, storage configurations, network integration, and high-availability standards • Establish technical standards, architectural documentation, migration methodologies, and implementation best practices • Provide technical leadership to Nutanix engineers and infrastructure teams during deployment, migration, testing, and production cutover • Evaluate migration tooling, including Nutanix Move • Architect backup, disaster recovery, replication, and business continuity solutions • Identify architectural risks, performance bottlenecks, compatibility challenges, and migration issues • Lead technical design reviews, architecture workshops, and migration readiness discussions with client stakeholders • Serve as the senior escalation resource for complex migration, virtualization, storage, and infrastructure issues • Collaborate with application owners, network architects, security teams, and infrastructure leadership • Oversee post-migration validation, performance optimization, environment stabilization, and transition to ongoing operations • Deliver architecture diagrams, technical design documents, migration roadmaps, implementation standards, and knowledge transfer materials

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, or data center architecture experience • Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise Nutanix HCI solutions • Expert-level knowledge of Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism Central, Prism Element, and associated platform technologies • Proven experience architecting and leading large-scale enterprise virtualization or infrastructure migration projects • Deep understanding of VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and migration strategies involving Nutanix AHV • Strong experience with enterprise compute, storage architecture, networking, virtualization, and infrastructure integration • Demonstrated ability to develop migration strategies for complex production environments with significant application dependencies • Experience designing high-availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions • Strong understanding of infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, performance optimization, and scalability • Experience leading technical teams and coordinating migration activities across multiple infrastructure disciplines • Excellent client-facing communication, technical documentation, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to balance architecture responsibilities with hands-on troubleshooting and implementation oversight • Nutanix Certified Expert (NCX), Nutanix Certified Advanced Professional (NCAP), or equivalent advanced Nutanix certifications preferred • Experience leading enterprise VMware-to-Nutanix AHV migration programs preferred • Experience with Nutanix Files, Objects, Flow, automation, and cloud integration technologies preferred • Background supporting large-scale data center consolidations or infrastructure transformation initiatives preferred • Experience architecting multi-cluster, multi-site, or geographically distributed Nutanix environments preferred • Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Python preferred • Experience working in regulated or highly available enterprise environments preferred
