📋 Description

• Support Irix technology as a technical subject matter expert • Learn and communicate the inner workings of the technology • Execute non-clinical adjustments to the Irix Rules Engine and assist with clinical adjustments when necessary • Perform impact and regression testing for client and clinical changes • Conduct mortality, incidence rate, and decision simulation studies following rule changes • Assist with user acceptance testing of system changes • Create, identify, and analyze test cases for proposed rule changes • Update the project management system with specifications, changes, and task statuses • Check and validate team members’ work and results through peer review • Prepare and run reports for evidence-based research initiatives • Deploy cloud-based systems to test • Deploy legacy on-premises systems to test and production • Manage routine and ad-hoc client and clinical requests • Manage internal and external project-related documentation • Work independently while communicating and collaborating with the team and clients

🎯 Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in any field • 3+ years of professional experience • Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel • Experience with SQL, including joins, aggregate functions, and stored procedures • Experience with C#, Java, Python, or another object-oriented programming language • Ability to use Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot for analysis, documentation, testing, and productivity • Familiarity with Databricks and AWS • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information (HIPAA) • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively • Ability to work within established processes and timeframes • Strong organization and accuracy • Ability to work directly with clients to understand configuration needs and provide technical explanations • Self-motivated and solutions-oriented • Willingness to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide • Wish list: Experience in financial services, actuarial science and/or insurance underwriting • Wish list: Relevant advanced degree or certification • Wish list: QA experience • Wish list: Experience in an Agile Scrum team • Wish list: Experience with Git or other version control systems
