📋 Description

• Own testing and quality assurance for assigned projects, developing and executing comprehensive test strategies • Design and execute functional, workflow-driven, performance, and accessibility testing across mobile products and services • Develop and maintain automated tests and testing workflows • Work with product managers, developers, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria, identify risks, and translate them into testing approaches • Conduct testing using assistive technologies and automated tools to validate government accessibility compliance • Verify fixes and validate functionality across development and production environments • Identify quality risks, gaps, and opportunities to improve testing processes and technical workflows • Integrate AI and automation into testing workflows • Build client relationships and advise on quality, testing, accessibility, and risk • Communicate testing approaches, findings, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences • Educate customers and delivery teams on mobile quality, accessibility best practices, assistive technologies, and testing methods • Partner with leadership, stakeholders, and accessibility experts to strengthen accessibility practices • Establish and reinforce QA best practices, including test planning, defect triage, documentation, accessibility compliance, and technical workflows • Share testing knowledge, tools, approaches, and AI practices with teammates • Contribute to company initiatives, communities of practice, proposals, engagement planning, solution development, and growth activities • Identify opportunities to use testing expertise, AI, automation, or emerging technologies to create scalable capabilities and improve efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with significant experience testing mobile applications • Experience working with the federal government, with prior VA experience preferred • Proven track record of independently owning testing and quality assurance for complex projects and delivering high-quality results with minimal guidance • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automated testing, mobile application development, and iterative delivery practices • Experience with cross-platform and cross-browser testing across iOS and Android • Strong understanding of mobile accessibility standards, guidelines, and testing approaches • Experience using assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and speech recognition • Experience testing complex, rules-heavy systems while considering technical implementation, accessibility, compliance, business processes, and operational realities • Ability to build trust with clients, communicate technical information clearly, understand stakeholder needs, and provide thoughtful recommendations • Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify risks proactively, make sound decisions, and adapt testing approaches as requirements and priorities evolve • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and cross-functional teams while maintaining ownership of quality and testing outcomes • Demonstrated ability to use AI and automation to improve testing workflows, reduce manual effort, increase quality, or improve delivery effectiveness • Consistently high standards for quality, accessibility, documentation, and follow-through • Willingness to contribute through company initiatives, knowledge sharing, practice development, and growth activities • Must currently reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, or Washington • The contract this position supports requires US Citizenship • Nice to have: experience testing complex applications in regulated or highly controlled environments; React Native; automated mobile testing frameworks or CI/CD testing workflows; accessibility strategy or remediation; AI-enabled testing tools or AI-assisted testing approaches
