📋 Description

• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls, including de-escalations, for clients placing meal orders • Address questions and provide exceptional customer service • Input order information into the appropriate client order screen • Document all client conversations in the client information database • Ensure assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file • Contact case managers by telephone, email, and/or fax regarding special situations • Work quickly and efficiently without making clients feel rushed • Assist clients with reships after training • Assist callers asking about the Community Supports benefit and submit self-referrals for eligible callers • Notify clients of benefits ending within 30 days and offer assistance with reauthorization when possible • Explain next steps when an agency does not allow Mom’s Meals to initiate reauthorization • Explain benefits, including nutritional counseling requirements and possible timelines

🎯 Requirements

• High school degree or GED • 1 year of previous customer service experience • Previous knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/Outlook) • Clear oral communication skills • Previous experience with data entry • Must have a wired internet connection using an ethernet port • Broadband internet wired to the home is required: Cable Modem/service or Fiber Optic • No Satellite, 4/5G, or DSL circuits • Must have a quiet workspace that is free from distraction • Applicants must be located in Iowa • Preferred: 1 year of previous call center experience • Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish) • Repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands and/or fingers • Sedentary work primarily involving sitting and remaining stationary for prolonged periods • Visual perception, including peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
