📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact for global Software contracts and lead category strategic initiatives • Manage a team of procurement analysts • Collaborate with stakeholders and the global Legal team to ensure vendor compliance • Develop and execute a Software Category Management strategy and roadmap • Manage software renewals, sourcing initiatives, and supplier engagements • Analyze software spend, market trends, licensing models, and supplier landscapes to unlock cost savings • Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, Security, and business teams on procurement decisions • Collaborate with global teams across regions and time zones, including Pacific Time business hours • Drive supplier negotiations, vendor performance management, and sourcing activities • Ensure deals comply with the company purchasing policy • Lead pre-renewal strategy, RFP distribution, contract negotiations, and post-renewal analysis • Build renewal and sourcing pipelines with visibility into risks and opportunities • Develop category strategies based on spend analysis and supplier insights • Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and value optimization • Develop tools, processes, and approaches supporting global expansion and operational scale • Develop understanding of contract execution and supplier risk management • Lead and grow the team through career planning, mentorship, and professional development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or MBA/Master's Degree • 8+ years of experience within an indirect procurement team • Significant experience managing software purchasing and supplier negotiations • 4+ years of people management experience • Experience developing category strategies and managing complex software supplier relationships • Ability to analyze spend data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations • Strong organizational and project management skills • Legal contract experience • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence decision making across multiple business functions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively with global teams and stakeholders across multiple time zones, including Pacific Time business hours • Ability to create structure in uncertain or ambiguous situations • Demonstrated ability to drive projects through to completion
