📋 Description

• Design, build, ship, and maintain internal applications and services • Own internal software end to end, from requirements and architecture through implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance • Build web applications, services, APIs, and third-party integrations with EHR, billing, and HR platforms • Establish standards for source control, branching, code review, testing, modular design, documentation, and secure coding • Lead by example through high-quality code and thoughtful pull request reviews • Build and maintain applications and agentic workflows using LLMs and AI services • Help internal builders using Claude Code and similar tools turn prototypes into production-grade software • Implement deployment pipelines, environment management, monitoring, alerting, and incident response • Debug production issues and run blameless post-incident reviews • Build and maintain pipelines moving application data into and out of the Azure Fabric Lakehouse • Contribute to cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and data models for applications and reporting • Partner with clinical, billing, credentialing, and operations leaders to turn workflow problems into software solutions • Work directly with the VP of Data Science, Director of IT, and operational leaders • Mentor internal builders using AI-assisted development tools

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development, building and shipping production applications • High proficiency in at least one modern programming language, and comfort picking up others • Strong software engineering fundamentals: object-oriented or functional design, modular architecture, testing (unit, integration, end to end), debugging, and Git-based workflows • Experience designing and building APIs, services, and web applications • Track record of owning software end to end, from design through production support • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production deployment workflows • Experience building on a major cloud platform (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP considered) • Solid SQL and relational database design skills • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar • Understanding of secure coding practices and of handling sensitive or regulated data • Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders • Experience mentoring other developers or leading code review • Nice to have: Experience in the Microsoft ecosystem: Azure, .NET, SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, Entra ID, or Power Platform • Nice to have: Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines or working in Lakehouse or data warehouse environments • Nice to have: Infrastructure-as-code experience (Bicep, Terraform, or ARM) • Nice to have: Experience building applications on top of LLMs or agentic frameworks • Nice to have: Experience in healthcare, ABA, EHR/EMR, claims, or other regulated environments • Nice to have: Exposure to HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, SOC 2, or related compliance frameworks
