📋 Description

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments from booking through delivery • Prepare shipment requests and confirm origins, destinations, service levels, quantities, weights, dimensions, and delivery dates • Coordinate with freight forwarders, parcel carriers, brokers, warehouses, and 3PL partners • Track shipment milestones and communicate delays, exceptions, and changes • Confirm proof of delivery and update shipment records • Support shipment approvals and freight release requirements • Serve as day-to-day contact for transportation and logistics partners • Request and compare freight quotes and support routing decisions • Follow up on pickup scheduling, delivery appointments, tracking gaps, claims, accessorial charges, and service issues • Maintain contact lists, routing instructions, rate information, and service-level documentation • Prepare shipment data, issue logs, and basic KPI reporting for carrier and 3PL reviews • Escalate recurring service failures, cost concerns, and operational risks • Maintain shipment, tracking, freight-cost, and delivery information in company systems and shared trackers • Reconcile records and investigate discrepancies • Prepare reports covering shipment status, on-time delivery, exceptions, freight spend, accessorials, and logistics KPIs • Support invoice review by matching invoices to shipment records and documentation • Collect and organize commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, proof of delivery, and other shipment records • Route missing or inconsistent documentation for correction • Maintain records for audits, broker requests, shipment reviews, and internal reporting • Coordinate with customs brokers and internal stakeholders on routine shipment information • Escalate trade-compliance questions to the Senior Manager, Logistics & Trade Compliance or designated owner • Partner with Fulfillment, Inventory, Planning, Finance, Sourcing, Customer Support, and other teams • Support new carrier, forwarder, warehouse, and 3PL implementations • Document standard operating procedures, escalation paths, and shipment workflows • Participate in process-improvement initiatives • Provide timely updates on open actions, risks, and decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Working knowledge of transportation, freight, parcel, warehouse, or 3PL operations • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate operational records • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including filters, lookups, pivot tables, and basic data analysis • Ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and drive issues to resolution • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable follow-through and communication • Ability to work with ERP, transportation-management, warehouse-management, carrier, or logistics platforms • 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation operations, freight forwarding, warehouse operations, supply chain, or a related field • Experience coordinating with parcel carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, or 3PL providers • Experience tracking shipments and managing delivery exceptions across multiple regions or service levels • Experience reviewing freight invoices, shipment documentation, or carrier performance data is preferred • Experience supporting consumer electronics, hardware, technology, or high-volume shipping operations is a plus • Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered • Candidates should be located in or near Louisville, Kentucky • Must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations
