📋 Description

• Extend agent capabilities by adding investigation tools and integrations with security data sources • Improve how agents manage context, recall evidence, and balance cost against latency • Build evaluations to determine whether agents produce correct, well-sourced findings • Use evaluation results to guide model, prompt, and tool changes • Evolve service boundaries and failure handling as capabilities expand • Raise engineering standards for API governance, testing, and observability • Work with product management to turn case needs into technical specifications • Design and build hands-on as the platform grows • Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and architectural decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Designed and shipped distributed systems that remain in production over multiple years • Typically gained experience in a Staff, Principal, or Lead role • Taken AI agents from prototype to production across multiple model providers • Built tool-calling agent loops • Built evaluation harnesses that catch regressions before release • Built guardrails against hallucination • Use coding agents daily and review and verify their output • Deep expertise in Go or Python and strong proficiency in the other, including runtime, concurrency models, and memory management • Experience with relational systems of record, columnar analytical stores, and vector search • Experience with zero-downtime schema migrations • Designed schema-first, contract-driven APIs with generated clients and built-in validation • Built streaming APIs for live updates • Built long-running workflows using durable execution and event streaming • Treat idempotency, retries, and recovery from partial failure as design requirements • Experience building event-driven ingestion pipelines moving large volumes of structured data from object storage into analytical systems • Nice to have: experience with a major cloud provider, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration • Nice to have: designs that isolate each customer's or case's data • Nice to have: experience building security products or familiarity with digital forensics, incident response, or security telemetry
